Hi! My name is Vera and I'm a Dutch girl who likes to meet new people in many different places. Currently I'm on my first trip in the United States and I would love to meet new people and hear about their stories.

My first 2 months I've stayed with family and was surrounded by local people. This way I've learned so much more about the country I'm visiting, her people, about their culture and their thoughts and lives. It is easier to understand why they do the things they do when you spend time with them.
Because of this experience, I learned that spending your time with locals can be of great value. When I'm back home I would love to be a host myself and show people my own country and everything with it.
