Hi!

My name is Vera Lindquist and I’m a nineteen year old girl from Sweden. I come from the second biggest city called Gothenburg and finished my studies this summer (2017).

I have one big interest, and that is to travel the world and meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds. During my three years in high school I’ve lived 9 month as a sailor with my classmates on a ship called T/S Gunilla. There I studied social studies and made big rapports about stuff like human rights, integration and segregation and globalisation. We sailed to 15 different countries and meet a lot of cool people who I still got good contact with! This is what I love :)

After I graduated this summer I’ve been working at the biggest amusement park in Europe! It’s called Liseberg and is based in Gothenburg, were I live. In this amusement park me (and my amazing colleges) are the ones driving the rollercoasters, who’s for people in every ages. I worked there parallel with the kids in kinder garden between summer and January so I could save money to travel. Even if it took a lot of time to earn all the money I needed for travel, it was totally worth it because I love my job! It’s basically just to make people feel safe and laugh.

In January I began my backpacker trip, whom I’m still in btw, and my last destination is Australia! I’ve been out for 2,5 months in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia with a dear friend of mine. Now I’ll be traveling alone though, so it would be fun to meet someone who would like to hang out and show me the best bars in town or something. :)

I just created my account, so haven’t done this before, but I do not smoke or do drugs, I won’t come home to late (and if I do, I will be quiet!). I’m kind of an esthetician, read a lot of books, do theatre and live with music! I love surfing and would like to try diving, and if you have any advices for me, hit me up!
