About Me
Hi there!
We are Vera and Nick and we are travelling for one year through Australia, Indonesia and New Zealand. In Australia we bought a car with camping gear and we would like to do the same in New Zealand. We see camping as a big advantage as we can stay at the most beautiful places. Although we love camping, we are in for new experiences and heard good stories about coughsurfing from other travellers. We like to stay with local people to explore more about their culture and way of life.
More about us: Nick is 27 years old and a Physical Education teacher, he loves all kind of sports. He used to play soccer at a very high level, nowadays he likes to sweat in the fitness. I am 20, my passion is music. I love all kinds of music as long as it has a soul. I play the piano, although not that often during travelling. I try to visit a church to play some songs every now and then. I would like to go to Amsterdam University College, an international University to study Social Sciences after our travels. We are both not religious, but we have our own Philosophy. We both volunteer back home and believe when we help people, they want to do something back for other people. So our help can make a difference to more people. We are respectfull towards each person and the way they choose to live. Everyone is different and that it why we like to learn from others and their experiences.
Unfortunately we haven't been able to host anyone yet, as we have travelled most of our time. When we get back home, we will host travellers in the Netherlands.
We are very clean and don't mind to help our hosts with housekeeping etc. This is our first experience with coughsurfing, so we are very excited to meet you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Our whole trip is amazing, so it is difficult to name one thing. We see our trip as the best thing that has ever happened to us. Travelling as lovers and soulmates, it's amazing to share this whole adventure. All the places we have been and all the helpful and friendly people we have met. We don't plan that much and just see what happens next.

We see coughsurfing as an opportunity to share cultures and lifestyles, to learn about languages and experiences and teach about our own language and culture.
