I'm Vera, a 28-year old singer and vocal-coach who studied Jazz vocals at the Conservatories of Utrecht and Rotterdam. I work as a singer and vocal coach, but will also start a new study to become a midwife from September on.

I'm especially interested in hosting cyclists since I did my first (solo) Cycling trip in August 2016, only staying
with people through Couchsurfing and Warmshowers (couch surfing especially for cyclists).
I know how great it is to get a shower, a meal, a bed and a good conversation after an exhausting day of traveling and I would love to offer these things to travelers.

I like to do a lot of sports (cycling, horse riding, swimming, tennis) and have a relaxed drink with friends or go to some concerts.

I live in Rotterdam, which is a great and very multicultural city, where there's always something to do!
I live in a small apartment in Rotterdam together with my boyfriend, who doesn't participate in warm showers or couch surfing. I made the deal with him that every now and then I can let someone stay at our home, because I want to give back to the community and like to host other travelers/cyclists. This means that I cannot host a lot, but if you'd like to stay at my home please send me a personal message and specify why you'd want to meet me.

You could sleep on the couch in the living room, or have more privacy and sleep in the study room (if you have your own mattress). We have a storage room in the basement for your bike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer 2016 I did a solo cycling trip from Cologne to Chamonix, through France and Switzerland and slept on someone else's couch every night.
