Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet "locals" and see places that I wouldn't if I just stayed in a hostel. I've tried couchsurfing before, with friends, and we met great people and saw parts of the cities that we wouldn't have seen before. It's also great to meet people that can offer a different perspective than the travel guide.

Interests

I like to meet with friends, learn new things, read, draw, and meet new People ;)
I love travelling: With friends, I did an Interrail Tour in Europe and traveled through Jordan. With my family, I mostly did bike tours and went hiking: sports that I still love :)
I like to learn: about other countries, cultures, languages. I'm learning French and Arabic.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of Music, what I've heard recently and liked are Haraket, Kat Frankie and Mine, for instance.
I watch all kinds of movies, just a random list of what Comes to mind: Grand Budapest Hotel, Lock, Stock, and two Smoking Barrels, Fight Club, Les Choristes, and more ;)
I like to read crime stories, but also classics, like "Jane Eyre" or "The Royal Game". I also liked, for instance, Isabel Allende's ya series and Jostein Gaarder's Sophie's World and others.
