ABOUT ME

Hi my name is VERA, but my friends call me Verish. I enjoied growing up in a tiny village because of the nature and the friendly people. However this is also the reason why I want to visit new places, like big citys and also all kinds of landscape (forest, mountains, sealife). At the moment I am doing my Master degree in Social Work and have a part time Job als well. Apart from that I am always keen on doing active and fun stuff and go out, meet friends for a coffee or food (I love eating, especially garlic and cheese).I guess I´m very open minded and easy going and am keen on getting to know some incredible new places by low budget travelling (hitchhiking, hostels and of course CS). I get to people by being warm and laughs and of course I never complain about their food :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and especially exchanging different cultures and travel experiences. So I got to know sooo funny stories from all around the world. I love tasting foreign food. I am a really good eater :) just in Indonesia or Marocco my belly got a bit crazy!
During my travels I met the greatest persons ever, I got so much help and trust from others so that I really want to give something back, as good as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I used couchsurfing for several times and it was always a great experience.
I used couchsurfing during my world trip and till now I met great people in Asia, Australia, some parts of Europe, Marroco and South/Cebtral America!
I am very thankfull for all the hospitaity and eager to use it some more for other adventures. So I am really looking forward to meet more people all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed up Gunung Agung in Indonesia at night to see the beautifull sunrise from the top!
Saw a Humpbackwale 5 meters next to our boat. First I thought I have to die, then I was the happiest person on earth!
Climbed up a 75 meteres high tingletree (also thought I have to die) and had the best view of my life.
Stood in front of the Iguazu waterfalls!
Hitch hiked trough Argentinia until Ushaia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to speak german of course, so I can definatelly can teach you a few (bad) words in german, if you`re interested. It always sounds really funny. Furthermore I would love to share my travel experiences. I just have to check that I stop talking at anytime :)
If I have the time I would Like to have Dinner with you and show you my favourite spots in the City (If it is warm enough by Bike :)
