About Me

I long to live in just, peaceful and prosperous society
Hello couch surfing! I am happy to join a global community of people that are interested in creating and sustaining positive and inspiring cross national relationships beyond horizons. I hope that I can contribute meaningfully to this cause with my own unique cultural and national heritage. I bring with me experiences from my native country Uganda; but also from Portugal, Sweden and Norway where I have met amazing people on the course of my studies. But more so, I wish to learn about other people's cultures, and experiences. For all those that I will be pleased to meet on this journey, I hope to share with you my rare charm and precious memories that date far back in time

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't been long on couch surfing; but I hope to meet new people, new cultures and share my own experiences. I hope that together, we can create a life and leave each other precious life inspiring memories - reminiscences we can always recall no matter on what part we happen to stand in this beautiful and passing life

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening and dancing rock and roll and all kinds of music - habibi habibi all the way. I have an endless list of movies but my favorite is "Guess who's coming to dinner" - One of Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn's finest in time.
I have a rare taste of African literature favorite; and I would recommend you to try God's Bits of Wood. It creates a rare combination of love, family, culture, revolution, struggle and justice all in one. Elsewhere, I have also come to admire Dylan Baker's biography of Steve Jobs

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my last trip to Amsterdam, I ate magic mushrooms and the whole world turned into a beautiful garden filled with roses and shinning butterflies. Everything around me became an unforgettable paradise; I became the first person on this world to go to heaven, only to be sent back in less than 10 minutes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some African dance moves like Calypso, kadodi, bolingo etc
I might also teach you the notorious stamina dance, but trust me, you will need strength to do this . If possible, I could also teach you how to prepare some African dishes from my native land

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could share a lot with hosts, but the best gift of them all is love and I have it in fullness

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Kenya, Netherlands, Rwanda

Countries I’ve Lived In

Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Uganda
