Hello world.

I am Vera, originally from Moscow, now living in Hamburg.
Happily married, mom-to-be.
Once I was crazy about meeting people, experiencing cultures and the standard stuff, but after the burnout at work I have to re-discover myself: what I am, what I like and how I communicate with people: working with refugees and other people who had to come to Germany because they didn´t have a choice I was so tired of interactions that I didn´t make new friends in...like...3 years, and had trouble keeping in touch with my old friends.
Now the proximity of the maternity leave makes me feel I have space again to be curious about life in general and people in particular.
Yet there are some things I know about myself and would like to share with you:

- I am an early bird. For me it is way easier to wake up at 6 AM than to go to bed after midnight.
- 100% audial person. I can get lost in a place I´ve often been to, but when someone tells me directions, I can play them like a tape in my head even weeks after and quickly find the place without google maps.
- Crazy about weddings. They are not outdated, they are fun and cool! That is why I also earn a bit money as a celebrant.
- Totally a cat person, but we have no cats because my husband is allergic to them. Afraid of dogs I don´t know.
- I am one of the lucky ones capable of easily saying "no".
- I do Aikido.
- I like drinking, primarily wine and beer. I miss wine. I miss beer. And as for drinking...my Hash name is Peep Show (insider thing. Some will understand. On-on!)
- I don´t like night clubs. I love pubs.
- Singer and songwriter.
- Crazy about board game evenings. My favourite board game is "Imaginarium" ( a Russian copycat od "Dixit". Way better pictures than in the original game!) The only game that I don´t like is "Resistance"

兴趣

Interested in life. Again.
Also interested in making my life environmentally friendly. This summer I decided to boycott flying for the first time in many years, so all the parts of my summer 2019 journey will be connected by train, ship and a bit by bus.
