About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm still learning, following love as best as I can lead with it.

ABOUT ME

I’m in the pursuit of service, my hero is Christ. Not for my own advancement, but to be a signal, pointing others towards life. It’s kind of a mystery. What are we all doing here? If we lean on our own understanding then death we will fear. We are vessels, what we put in matters. We are matter, precious and abundant, peculiar and vast. We are the unseen made visible. So much energy, dedicated to existence, so I pursue the Eternal Kingdom one step at a time.

LOVES

John 3:16.
I love family, friends are like family too!
I love to cook/eat
I love to read/write
I love to sing/play music

PHILOSOPHY

• The wicked flee when no man pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1
• Forget about moi meditate on Trois.
• Let all that you do be done in love. -Corinthians 16:14
• Nobody's perfect

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1 week after my 21st birthday I moved out of my parent's house, for the first time, across the country from DC to Seattle. I had only visited Seattle a couple of times before departing. I didn't have any friends there; nor, did I have a job, place to live, or very much money. I only saved 2 grand, and had a couple credit cards which totaled another grand or so. Despite those daunting factors, I pushed forward with my goal to make Seattle my new home.

In August 2006 I flew out to Seattle and checked into the beautiful Hosteling International across from Elliot Bay (it's sadly a condo now). I made a reservation for 7 days, and stayed in a dorm style room with 5 other guys. In 7 days I was compelled to find a job, and an apartment. In 3 days I found a job at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant named Carmelita(it's sadly no longer there), and on the 7th day I moved into the Charlesgate Apartments with Andrew, one of my dorm mates. His move out day was actually the last day that I had booked at the hostel. The heavens had opened up and blessed us with the best of luck! Andrew's story is similar to mine in the sense that he moved to Seattle because he wanted to make it his new home.

I only stayed with Andrew for a couple weeks because I found my dream studio apartment in a mansion that had been split into apartments located in the charming Volunteer Park neighborhood.

The moral of the story is, sometimes when you take a great leap of faith, you are held up by the Most High. So, soak up all the glory and just keep going.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's my pleasure to cook meals, organize spaces, and to fix things. My dad is a chef so I became a foodie over the years. I also have an SLR camera. I love taking photos, and making videos. These things and more I share with you.
