About Me
I haven't hosted people around a half a year, because I was doing a very long renewing of my flat. Now all stuff is almost finished, so I'll be glad to start hosting/surfing again!
PLEASE READ THAT BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST!
There are some points which are not acceptable for me at all.
I will decline your request if:
1. You're asking about a place to sleep. I'm not a free hotel/hostel/whatever and the couchsurfing project is not about that!
2. It's an impersonal bullshit. Yes, I have a name, so please use it in the first sentence.
Also, I don't answer to the messages related to hosting. If you want me to host you, please, read 5 points before and create a real request.
THANK YOU FOR READING THAT!
I'm a quite passionate programmer, and I spend a major part of my life in the office, writting code... But that doesn't mean I don't have any hobbies!
First of all, I can't imagine my life without reading books and cycling, so I'm very happy, when I have an opportunity to cycle next to the river or in one of Minsk's parks and then to have a rest on a bench, reading a new book.
Also, I'm a postcrosser. Therefore I always buy lots of cards while I'm travelling... Yes. :) I certainly prefer going abroad. When I have some days off, I can work remotely for my company. I also like cooking, watching films and hanging out with other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Frankly speaking, I prefer travelling alone, so sometimes I need a person just to spend some time together, sharing our experiences.
What is more, we have many fabulous activities that are not popular in Belarus at all (frisbee, for example, or some table games), and these people were really valuable advisors and guides. It's a totally unforgettable experience with fascinating memories.
Unfortunatelly, there is rather little interest in Minsk and Belarus, so I don't have an opportunity to host other people frequently, but I hope that situation will change in the future.

Movies: Art-house.
Books: Camus, Hesse, Lem, Sartre, Kafka, Strugatsky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen a sunrise in Prague, staying on the Petřín.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach how to cook our national belarussian dishes (draniki, cirniki) or something else (sushi, for example).
I also could share my experience (music/films/books/travelling/whatever).
I'm open for new knowledge, and I'm keen on trying new things ... :) So it doesn't really matter what I'd like to learn (a new language or a new dance).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could offer a separate room with a big couch. Besides, I like cooking for my guests. If I have time, I could show them around Minsk.
