Overview
About Me
Kia Ora,
I am a New Zealand Maori and have been hosting Couchsurfers for several years.
I enjoy showing travelers around the sites of Picton, and sharing my knowledge about the ancient Maori culture.
I can take you to visit some of the local flora and fauna endemic to Aotearoa New Zealand, and the best locations to watch the Sunset.
I would describe myself as open minded, easy-going, and always see the positive sides of life.
I work full-time as a Commercial Painter and Interior Decorator. In the past, I have also worked as a Nuclear Device Operator, Civil Engineer, and also a Exercise and Nutrition Consultant.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find people extremely interesting. Hosting travellers and making new connections. Enjoy showing travellers the local sites of Picton. A cultural exchange.

Music, Movies, and Books
Listen to most types of music. I don't read many books. I enjoy watching movies that have a good story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Caring for ancient Tuatara in New Zealand.
Tuatara are 'living Dinosaurs' and have been living on earth for more than 250 million years, and are found only in Aotearoa New Zealand.
