PHILOSOPHY
- The Golden Rule.
- Never lose the imagination and astonishment you had as a child. Whether you are amazed by nature, by love, by pain, by music or by injustice, it is this sense of amazement that is the origin of all good things in the world. Cheesy, I know, but it was the great first century Roman philosopher Caseus who said that "it is in the holes of cheese that the essence of life lays hidden."
- If anyone can tell me what the Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything is, just give me a ring.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Isn't hospitality a great thing?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted some people in Belgium, enjoyed hospitality in the US and Canada, now hoping to return favor again.
Interests
- Traveling (especially cityhopping)
- Reading (I'm a literature omnivore. I'm a member of a couple of bookclubs and I lose all self-control when I'm in a bookshop. It is for the best if I remember to forget my money.)
- Journalism (I write for a students magazine in Ghent)
- Music (One of my best friends. I love going to concerts and music festivals. And why were you right Mom when you told me as a kid that I would regret that I wouldn't know how to play an instrument as an adult?)
- Friends (You know, those weird people around you)
- Arts (museums, theatre, imitation of life or escape from it, as you wish)
- History (I have studied History for four years and after these preparations I'm currently building a time machine)
- Studying (I'm thankful that I have the possibility to study, so I enjoy it as much as I can)

Music, Movies, and Books
Too much movies, music and books to mention here, and I'm REALLY bad in making decisions, so I can't make a list here.
But I can pick one song that I always enjoy: 'Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)'(Baz Luhrmann)(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5NAPZp2w-o&feature=fvst)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Studying in Paris for half a year

- Sziget Festival, Budapest: a real utopian isle in the Danube river. A must go!
