Hi, I'm Simon, someone who is searching for simplicity, happiness, freedom, and little bits of enlightenment. I can equally enjoy being in the city or in the forest. I appreciate photography, love to ride a bike, bodysurf, and learn guitar. I studied in Spain, lived in Costa Rica, traveled Western Europe, Panama, Nicaragua, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil and a few other places. I'm generally described as being laid back. I live in Brooklyn with my wife.

I have both surfed and hosted. I've met many wonderful people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing.com experience was in Lawrence, Kansas, a beautiful little town near the University. I stayed with Katrina and her painter roommate. It was a great first experience. I then surfed couches all around the West Coast, and eventually became a roommate with a previous CS host in Seattle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An evening swim in the warm waters of the Atlantic, surrounded by glowing algae, preceded by a fresh grilled fish dinner including frozen margaritas and ATVing to the top of a mountain, overlooking the entire coast of Santa Theresa, Costa Rica.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like playing catch or frisbee... I can teach you to dance like Mick Jagger, play hold'em poker, play guitar chords, make a website, and can cook a couple of dishes.

I'd like to learn whatever you're teaching, really!
