About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving the world.
ABOUT ME
In June of 2009 I graduated from Southern Oregon University with my degree in Art. My emphasis is in graphic design, but I also love to draw, paint and express myself in other artistic mediums. I also love to look at and talk about art of all kinds.
I am also an outdoor enthusiast. I love to snowboard, ride my bike, hike, swim, and just about every other outdoor activity.
Probably my greatest love is food. I am excellent at baking, but I am also known to try my hand at cooking once in a while. Along with this, I love red wines! My favorites are Pinot Noir and Zinfandel.
Since I have just graduated college, and I don't have pets, a spouse, or a good paying job, I realized that this is THE time in my life to travel! I would like to see as much of the world as I can! Travel is very important to me right now.
I LOVE meeting new people, learning about other cultures, and just finding out what makes people tick.
PHILOSOPHY
My dad did a fair amount of traveling in his youth and he always had the most incredible stories at bed time. This is my goal: to live my life to the absolute fullest and then one day to be able to tell my children about some of my unbelievable experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Over the summer I have hosted some rad couchsurfers at my place in Ashland.
In September I will be traveling to Europe for about three months. I am still working on my itinerary, but I am looking forward to meeting fellow couchsurfers more than anything! Ever CS experience I have had so far has been so wonderful! I would like to contribute to the experience by making you a meal, or sharing a drink.
Cheers to new friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Graduating from college feels amazing.
Favorite places I've been: Victoria, Canada; Crater Lake, Oregon; and Barcelona, Spain.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook and bake, mostly for other people (although I eat a fare amount of what I make).
I also believe that my home is a warm and friendly space. I would love to share that with others.
