Hi there! I am a 19 year old girl from Austria. I was born in a little rural village called Haslach an der Mühl in Upper Austria. Pretty close to the German and Czech Republican border. Last summer I had my finals and decided to take a break and go to the States working as an Aupair. Currently I am living in Maryland since August 2015 with my lovely Hostfamily. During my Aupair year I love to travel as much as I can. I never knew that travelling makes me that happy. My native language is German and I am also fluent in English. My next language I would love to learn is Italian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Many people, especially my age, know the community Couchsurfing. A lot, who tried it out already, recommened it to me. As I said bevor I just love to travel, meet new people and new cultures. Couchsurfing is such an awesome way to experience a city or explore the surrounding as good as possible because locals know it better than anyone else does. They maybe tell you about their favourite food/ restaurants or their secret place you would never know about otherwise. I would consider myself as an opend minded person and I get along with people from all over the world easily.

Interests

I am really interested in travelling. I think for my age I have already seen a lot of different places and meet a lot of different people. I really appreciate my home though; my friends and family. For me it is important that I know someone stands behind my back and supports my in whatever I am doing.

Furthermore I am dog crazy haha. Whenerver I see one I am literally like "OOOhhh can i pat him please". I also have my own dog called Emily. She is a very energetic golden retriever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping in Mexico. I jumped off a tower (Just 35m above the sea surface - but still) near the little Island Cozumel. It was such a great and never forgetting experience.
