About Me

I'm 26-year-old student from Germany, currently living in Erlangen. I'm living in Erlangen for almost 7 years now and I'm finishing my Masters degree in March.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because i am traveling through Ireland with a friend and we want to meet new people and experience some activities not listed in a common tourist guide.
I am not sure where to travel after we've been through Ireland, but there are some thoughts in my head what could be the next country...

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of music during my freetime and sometimes during my studies too. Mostly I listen to Rock (Indie/Alternative), currently listening to Mumford and Sons a Lot. I like a lot of "old" bands like Pink Floyd (my favourite!), Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and sometimes i'm in the mood for some classical tunes like Beethoven or Chopin but that comes and goes.
I've read a lot of books in my lifetime, its hard to tell which ones are my favourites. I absolutely love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter and I am reading a lot of Fantasy Books in my freetime like A Song of Ice and Fire (currently stuck at the fifth book for quite some time). I love classical childrens authors like Michael Ende or Erich Kästner whose books I can read over and over again.
Since I discovered Comics, I've read quite a lot of them. I am going to the library most of the time because its an expensive hobby. Some of the best are: Neil Gaimans Sandman (stuck at volume 5 right now), Spiegelmans Maus (so good and so disturbing), Scott Pilgrim, the adaptation of Faust by Flix, Donald Duck pocket books and so on...I have written a list for what I might be reading next. Oh and my Masters thesis is about digital comics too.
I love watching movies and I love tv-series. Just ask me because there are to many to list them now...(e.g. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Scrubs, Greys Anatomy, Friends, Breaking Bad, Avatar (only! the series), Vikings, Rick and Morty...the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling through Indonesia with a friend, now I am more confident when it comes to Traveling

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to read more, especially classic books, and I hope that someday into the future I might reduce my time spent on the Internet

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you a lot about series (I watch a lot of series and since I've got my own Netflix account it hasn't gotten any better ;)), comics, movies and books but it depends on the genres and what you like ;)
