I believe there's too much about a person that can not be put into words. However I will try with a short life story.
I am Verena, born and raised in Tanzania. In 2013 I moved to Germany to pursue my studies as I am half german it only seemed logical. I mention these two facts because i think they make up a lot of who i am today.
I like to take things easy and not fall into the stress of living in big cities.
I contemplate the effectiveness of my university degree in my pursuit of happiness and yet I am still studying business.
I like to say that life is a Paradox.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing like carsharing/carpooling is one of the coolest things one can come up with, the world should share more good. what better way is there to get to know new people and cultures. this is one of the best ways to really enjoy a country and its people.

Interests

I am a complete guitar fan, to my own disappointment though i somehow do not find the patience and time to devout myself to improve my guitar playing skills, and i admire people who do. I also love philosophizing and playing with children, theres nothing that can easily lighten up my heart like taking care of a baby. I enjoy going out, partying, sipping on cocktail or two, have a beer and try new foods and just take in everything the world has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, and I can't stop when i start, same goes with series. They are too addictive. Currently i enjoy reading non fiction novels things like "the Dessert flower"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on top of Africa's peak. I would like to make it my goal to reach the Highest peaks of countries i spend more time in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you a lot about Tanzania or Germany, and id like to share travel trips and travel stories. I cherish very exchange, because one always leaves with something they didn't know before.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately i do not have my own apartment or house or any permanent living space at the moment so i can not host anyone. Hopefully in a month or two i will have settled in Berlin and then you are very welcome :)
