Hey my name is Verena, I am 23 years old and I am from Germany. I already finished my education as a kindergarden teacher. I am in the United States since 25th September 2017 and work as an Au pair where I take care of 2 lovely kids.
Life is an awesome gift. There are so many places I want to see. I want to fill my trips with different people and stories .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I already met a lot of new and different people during my time as an Au pair and made such good friends with them. I want more of that! I really love this cultural exchange . It is so wonderful to have friends all over the world and fill my travels with different people and stories! Thats the reason why I want to try couchsurfing. I am new here and hope to make good experiences with it. Hope to see you soon! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love it to listen to good music. I facinated in people who can play an instrument very well. I started to play the guitar a few months ago. Maybe we can talk more about that when we meet :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I´ve done is to come th the United States and work here for one year as an Au pair. I will remeber this year for the rest of my life! My big adventure on the other side of the world. I can´t describe the feelings to life somewhere, where no one knows you. I feel like a part of a second family, I met so many new people, made new friends and visited new places.

I love to laugh and to talk with people ! I can tell you about my adventure being an Au pair in the United States or about the german culture. Do you know the traditional german food?
