My name is Verena and my home base is beautiful Vienna, Austria.

After high school I had my first big trip all across asia, that's when I fell in love with traveling.
It's also where I had my first couchsurfing experience. Since then I've caught the travel bug and am endlessly craving for other countries, other cultures.

My life has led me to the path of spirituality quite quickly and I am always enjoying conversations with others about their beliefs, practices, bodywork, yoga .... And much much more! You'll learn more about me in person :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because I want to get to know other cultures better! and I want to prove to myself and others that the world is a beautiful, safe space to be in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

# Hiking up the Kuang Si Waterfalls, Luang Prabang -- barefoot! My shoes were hurting

# Singing, Dancing, shaking the bells at an indian temple ceremony. Had no idea whats going on but the priestress encouraged me to dance.

# Won several poetry slams in Vienna. Not active anymore though!

# My Yoga Teacher Training in India (included lots of diahrrea tho [tmi?])

art, art history, fun facts,..

I know how to cook, I could teach you German, you could improve English (I‘m very good at English)! We could exchange travel stories. Maybe I will teach you funny Viennese words, bless you with my incredible taste in music and an interesting sense of humor. Usually cheerful personality included.
