About Me

Hi, you can call me Vera,

Lovely to meet you ;)

Upcoming trip to Poland - Krakow and Warsaw - in September :D

Whenever I can I like to spend my time with training my body and being active. Im very interested in personal development, so I don't only want to make progress in my physical strength but also want to learn more about having a growth mindset. Im consuming a lot of books, podcasts and personal stories. I love to meet other people and listen to their experiences to learn from everyone I meet.
It might sound a bit serious - yet my favorite is black humor - so show me your most sarcastic side ;)
I hope this short notice gives you an idea about me and my interests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that travelling does not have to be expensive and you dont have to spend a huge amount of money to make great experiences. I like the idea of couchsurfing to support people visiting my country and are welcome by people all around the world. I love to meet new people and dig in the culture to get a true feeling about a country!

Great trips are made by meeting great people, and Im very thankful to Couchsurfing that already enabled me to meet awesome personalities!

Interests

I recently started opera singing classes and made daily meditation to my new habit.
I get super excited about healthy food! I could die for fresh sea food, fish and tasty humus. Finished with a Turkish Mocca you can make me the happiest person in the world.
I love animals, so Im looking forward to meeting your dog or to visit some horses.
I like to go out in nature and to be active in general. There is no kind of sports Im not willing to challenge myself to do and to learn movements.
I used to play a lot of tennis, then went on to volleyball, swimming and basketball. In general I am a very active person.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading books about philosophy, our society and our future. Currently I am reading Homo Deus, which discusses the idea of humans trying to become god alike more and more. Pretty cool, I highly recommend it! :D

Music that makes me shake my hips immediately:
Dancehall,Reggae, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Dubstep

Movie nights and cinemas are the worst for me xD It makes me feel being in a passive mode for too long instead of living my own life :P

Books: The Alchemist, Crush it, Tools of Titans

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All couchsurfers experiences so far!

I just had Stefania visiting me in Munich and showing her around the Christmas markets, as she has never been here. I met her last year as I went to an event in London, where she is living and I have been couchsurfing at her place. So still being in touch and finding new friends via Couchsurfing is for me a very great experience.
