I have lived in California my entire life, growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, living in sunny San Diego for 4 years and now in Los Angeles for 4.5 years.

I am passionate about helping others and have worked for NGO's in fundraising and marketing. I also like being creative and am freelancing as a graphic designer and content manager.

One fun fact about me is that I love houseplants! There are over 25 types of plants in my apartment and my current favorite is the Calathea lancifolia (rattlesnake or peacock plant).

I initially heard about Couchsurfing through word of mouth and just wanted to check it out. I have always loved the idea of staying with locals when travelling, and meeting people from different backgrounds and experiences.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like all types of music, it just depends on my mood. I go through different music phases, but I tend to go back to alternative/indie rock, classical, country, and EDM (trance, drum n bass, etc).

I like to read a mix of fiction and nonfiction books. I really enjoyed The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series.

Disney/Pixar movies are my go-to's. Totoro has a special place in my heart, as does Spirited Away and other Studio Ghibli films.
