About Me
Hej, hej, I'm an exchange student in Uppsala, Sweden at the moment. Usually, I live in the wonderful city of Cologne. After studying history and English for a couple of years and living in London and Uppsala, I am now doing a PhD. If you want to learn more about how Infant Formulas were developed and how this effected family life in the 20th century, I can give you a quick presentation (only on request, of course ;)
Also, I am part of a group that supports people who are coming from families with a non-academic background, who want to start a PhD in the Humanities. This is a very rewarding job and I love to share my experience with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know people. It helps to get to know the city you're travelling to much more easily, than usual. It is a much more familiar way to travel and I love meeting new people from around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts
If you let me stay with you, I could share some of my cooking skills with you. I'm a vegetarian and I can cook some mean vegitarian burgers and some other lovely, hearty veggie food. Another speciality: pancakes with savory or sweet fillings.
Over the years, I have lived in a number of shared flats and know how to be respectful to other people's need for privacy and quite. I'm very considerate when it comes to this and always try to give people their space, if needed.
