One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One sunny day in La Paz, Bolivia, I had the ridiculous thought I could climb a 6,088m glacier.
So there I went, in full snow gear with crampons and an ice pick, climbing 5 and a half hours. I had to scale walls of ice and jump over bottomless crevasses in the dark.
To my own surprise, I really made it to the top. It war the most physically exhausting thing I did in my life but such an amazing experience watching the sun go up from 6,088 m above sea level.
