Hi!! I'm Veri.

I've been traveling alone around Brazil since 2017. Since then I've met a lot of cool places and people.

I started my voluntary exchange in May in England. I visited some cities there and now I'm in Scotland. I also visited Wales. At the end of July I will visit Northern Ireland and Ireland.

In September my mother will meet me so we can visit some countries together. She has never left Brazil and has only been on a plane a few times. It will be something unforgettable for her.

We will pass through some countries, including France and Italy and I will look for hosts in these countries. It will be really cool for my mother to discover this other way of traveling and meeting wonderful people.

A little about me, I'm 30 years old and from Brazil. I am a calm, flexible, adaptable person who likes to make friends and discover new places. My English is basic, but I am studying and interacting with people who speak English every day.

I really like photographs and since I started taking photographs I find beauty in everything I see, even in a simple tree that is a little more flowery than normal. For me, each place has its beauty and its history, it can be a big city or a small one.

I always see the good side of things and I am very grateful for my life. My goal here is to meet kind-hearted people, share stories and get inspiration for life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did volunteer work with children and homeless people.
I cut my hair and donated it to an NGO that makes wigs for women with cancer.
I like extreme sports. I've skydived, paraglided, bungee jumped, and ziplined.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese and some food (I'm not an expert - but I'm good at pasta, stroganoff, cornmeal cake with guava paste and brigadeiro)! I know how to make easter eggs too :D
