Let us die young or let us live forever
We don't have the power but we never say never
Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst
ARE YOU GONNA DROP THE BOMB OR NOT?!!!
Hello world! I am Veridiana aaand since I love talking, brace yourselves! Long text ahead 😊
I have my flaws and my good parts, like any one of us. People say I have a 'good vibe' and always have energy, which is true!I love life! I cherish the good, the bad and the ugly and try to go on with a smile on my face!
I love solitude as much as I love the company of others.
I love my family and friends and I enjoy listening to people's life stories.
I have been blessed to travel to more than 25 countries so far (I am 24), mostly on my own. The experiences I have had have shaped me as a human being and there is nothing better in the world for me than discovering and protecting this gorgeous planet of ours.
* I do NOT live in Germany at the moment. I live in Taiwan and I'll stay here until October 2019. I cannot host AT ALL here so please don't send me couch requests.
**I did not have the chance to host too many people because I have lived most of my life so far in a student dorm. This will however change in the future!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am here because I want to pay it forward! I want to help people discover my city and Germany, just like so many people helped me discover their countries.
I am here to listen to you and share stories about our lives while discovering new spots and new interesting food.
I am here for the people. For bonding with them, because the more i travel, the more i realize how we are all alike!
I love humans. I love true friendships and connections that go beyond the big distances.
Some of the best people I have met are couchsurfers and I am still in touch with many of them. Let's make this world a kinder, more humble place together!
Interests
I have many hobbies, but my first and most important one is reading. I read anything and everything that I consider worth reading, from fiction to psichology, philsophy to religion. I read a lot and love discussing about books and authors.
I also write on a freelancing platform from time to time, writing is a big passion of mine. It helps me clear my mind, teaches me about myself and others and has definitely helped me improve the way I express myself.
I love playing beach volleyball, badmington and snowboarding! Hiking and climbing mountains, kayaking. Driving alone in the night, taking trips with friends, eating and cooking (hopefully) good food, studying things that I am passionate about and having deep conversations with people close to my heart.
I enjoy learning new languages, travelling as a lifestyle, making friends as far from home as I can and immersing as much as possible in a new culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: anything until 2000 (yes, i know...) Roxette, Scorprions, ABBA, Boney M, A-ha, The Doors, Queen, Beatles, Dido and many more. I guess this music brings me back to childhood, when i'd wake up in the morning and mom would listen to the radio playing such songs...I'd then go have some cereal in the tiny kitchen and talk to her before going to school, all this with this type of songs in the background... That's why i love it so much.
Books: anything philosophical, from Marcus Aurelius to Plato or Nietzsche, various types of fiction, spiritual books and many more... My all time favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Let's talk about books when we meet!
Movies: i personally enjoy documentaries about various subjects, from tribes in the Pacific to drug addiction, crime, different countries and people... I am a big time Rick and Morty fan, I watched Bojack Horseman, really liked Community and fell in love with Black Mirror. I don't watch too many movies anymore, but Stanley Kubrick is by far my all time favorite regizor, I have watched almost all of his movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Upon losing my wallet in Macau, survived 5 days in HK on less than 50 euros, only to come back to Macau and realize someone had returned my wallet with ALL the cash inside to the police station. People are amazing!
Pursued my Master Thesis in Taiwan, where I lived on my own for 7 months and had some of the best experiences of my life... The places, amazing people and food in Taiwan have no equivalent in the whole world for me.
Left everything behind in my home country and moved alone to Germany to start my Master's degree in Energy Engineering
Completed a three-month internship in summer in Greece, which still feels like an amazing dream to me. I'd go to the beach almost daily and share experiences with some of the most amazing, giving and fun people I have ever met.
Started meditating
Rode a camel and spent two nights in the Moroccan desert
Surfed in the Pacific
Scubadived in Greece
Went on a hot air baloon ride in Turkey
Cried happy tears SO many times because of the beauty of nature, kindness of strangers, nostalgia of a moment and the list goes on...
I have lived many, many amazing things and I am still in awe at all the beauties this world has to offer!
