I am from London. I love eating out, watersports, escape rooms, and long hot baths. I love films (particularly Sci-Fi/dystopian ones) and going to the theatre.

I went to Newcastle University for my MEng (2016-2021) and Christ Church, University of Oxford for my PGCE (2021-2022).
I've worked in project management (railway industry), naval architecture, and teaching.

I'm LGBT+ friendly, like animals, don't smoke, and only drink socially.

I can show people around in London/Newcastle/Oxford/Plymouth. If I'm living in one of these places then I can host. I would love to teach others about British culture and what we have to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and find there is no better way to get to know an area or culture than through the locals.
I think hosting makes the world kinder and friendly place. I believe in community ❤️

I think it is also a great way to save money. However, I believe a host shouldn't be treated as a hotel service as they are doing a favour and the guest is potentially adding to cleaning, water, and time costs etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 2 months interrailing and couchsurfing around Europe (Ireland, Spain, Austria, Liechenstein, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, and Italy).
Lived for 3 months in Florence, Italy teaching all subjects (Sep-Dec 2022).
Spent a month sailing around the Baltic Sea and the North Sea in Europe (July 2017).
Lived 2.5 months in Nicaragua volunteering on a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene project with Raleigh (July-Sept 2016). Spent another month there (August 2023).
Volunteered for 2 months in Indonesia teaching English (April-June 2016).
