Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find my way in this crazy world. Have heaps of fun and get stuck into Kiwi life
ABOUT ME
I'm an out going, lively lass that enjoys travelling, roadtrips, sports and generally having fun. I quit my job in the UK and came out to New Zealand mid March to find my way in life, meet new friends, and gain new experiences.
Most of the time I am a social butterfly; chatting, playing sports and up for new adventures, but I also enjoy taking time out to reflect, read a book and relax.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in treating others as you would like to be treated yourself. Be good to the people around you and the environment and wonderful, positive things will happen for you
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to couch surfing! I love what it stands for and hopes to achieve. I can't except couch surfers myself at the moment as I'm traveling but would love to give someone my time, help and guidance (and couch) once I'm back in the UK.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Zero so far. Although I did bump into two guys down in Raglan, NZ, who are hosts, they explained what couch surfing was and got me interested

Music, Movies, and Books
I appreciate listening to all sorts of different music, I wouldn't say I have a particular genre. I'll listen to good rock, metal, indie, reggae, pop, funk, soul songs
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1)Saw a bear in British Columbia
2)River tubing down a glacial river
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a degree in Sports Science (although a while ago, I have retained some ok knowledge in sports injuries, nutrition, sports psychology, I also took biomechanics, notational analysis, anatomy, physiology, but I'm afraid I don't have much interest in these subjects ) and I have 6 years experience in Sports Development - not very exciting but you're more than welcome to ask about it.
I'm not a great surfer but I'm a patient, good instructor and could give you a few pointers in the right direction.
I'd love to learn more about Buddhism, spirituality, marine life, Kiwi life, oceanography, the environment, and sustainable/re-newable energy :)
