About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life in Indonesia

ABOUT ME

After 12 months travelling in Europe, Russia and Asia... Few months in France, I'm back on the roads ! Ho, actually, I'm not really "on the road again !", but I'm not in France. I work in Indonesia, in Jakarta.

With my boyfriend we had a amayzing one year trip in 2008-2009. We left France in April 2008 for Eastern Europe, Russia and Asia (from Mongolia to South Est Asia, and India...). We came back in April 2009.
Now, from April 2010, I work in Indonesia, in Jakarata, in international cooperation.

We know what it is to travel for a long time... to miss home, to miss someone to share your crazy experiences, to miss someone to explain a city, a country... So, long time travellers will always be welcome in our house !
The travel is worthy when you meet real people ;-) I'm not Indonesian but I will help you to discover the city (even if I'm still a beginner in this crazy city !).

Well...let's talk about me... I'm not the best judge of myself. Sometimes, people say that I'm "hyper active" (work, sport, NGO activities,trips...), some say that I'm like a "gypsy" (because I'm "carpediem" girl and most of time I don't have house to stay !), some say that I'm a like "Mata Hari" (meaning the "eye of the day" in bahasa indonesia, because sometimes I look at the world with optimistic eyes).

PHILOSOPHY

Around us, we can all offer something to the other !
And the first step of all is to give a smile.

Learn something new everyday !

Music, Movies, and Books

Musics : Oldies (Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin...), French singers or bands(Brel, Benebar, Louise Attaque, Dobacaracol...) and a lot of others Ayo, Lhasa, Cesaria Evora, WZ orchestra (Bielorusia band)...
Movies: I don't really like US blockbusters, I like romantic comedies and movies in which I can find meaning and better understand people and culture (Va, vis et deviens; persepolis, Life is a miracle...).
Books : Anna Gavalda, Tonino Benaquista, Hwang Sok Yong... a mixe between a novel, a testimony and a documentary.

My boyfriend is a musician (percusions, guitar...). He is also fan of photograpy. He is very easy-going !
