Overview
About Me
We are a family of 3 people - Yury, Veronica and Elizabeth (born in October 2016), living in Obninsk currently.
Yury works in Moscow as a programmer and drives there at least three times a week. The rest two days he works remotely from home. And I (which is Veronica) have fun with our little baby 24/7 keeping her safe and sound. To be more official, I enjoy all the pleasure of the 3 year maternity leave according to russian Labour Code.
Apart from being a mother, I also coordinate the local English-speaking Club "uniTED". We meet in friendly atmosphere and discuss TED videos in English, play board games occasionally. The link to the VK page of the club is here: https://vk.com/obninsk_united. The reason I do this is because it brings me a lot of joy to speak English, especially in public.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We like to meet new people from all over the world and establish life-long friendship with them.
First we started to use CS as a possibility to lower the price of the trips. Now we can afford to stay in hotels, but we deliberately choose CS as an amaizing way to enhance our experience of traveling. CS became for us a lot more than just a tool to search for a free accomodation. It became a way to make awesome friends and spend unforgettable time with them, so we could tell many interesting stories to our grandchildren when we'll be 90+.
Interests
We have a collection of somewhat 20-25 board games, the spectrum is wide - we can find a game for any taste, either you love strategy, or just want to have fun time.
