About Me
I'm just finishing up a stint teaching English in South Korea, and am planning on traveling a bit before going home (US). I love experiencing the non-touristy sides of places and am usually up for an adventure. I like both quiet times at home and relaxing with friends, as well as going out and having a fun night. I also enjoy outdoor activities, like hiking and cycling. Right now, I'm basically interested in travelling, seeing new places, and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing sounds like a great way to experience a new city in a more authentic and non-touristy way. People who actually live in the city you're visiting are much better at recommending the best places to visit and (very importantly) what to eat!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I generally listen to alternative rock, but will listen to just about anything.
Movies: Some favorites include LOTR, Love Actually, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Star Wars, Stardust, Harry Potter
Books: So hard to decide! I can re-read all the Harry Potter books over and over, as well as John Grisham novels. I prefer fiction over non-fiction. My to-read list is way too long.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Canyoning in Bali. Basically going through some jungle and sliding down streams and off waterfalls. It was super fun!
