About Me
Hi everybody!
I'm Veronica, class 1992, power and energy engineer, scout leader and artist in the free time.
I love travelling and meeting people, that's why I joined couchsurfing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to travel AND meet new people, even if you're travelling alone. That's what I like most of it, and that's why I joined the crew.
Interests
I like to define myself an artist and a scientist, even if I'm far from being one nor the other. :)
My studies are all about science and technology, and I do not regret having chosen this field as my curiosity and critical thinking are constantly piqued.
However, in my free time, I like to draw and play my guitar for fun, or read some good books. Moreover I'm passionate about cinema, I love passing an evening in the company of a good film.
I'm a scout chief too, and I love being one.
My perfect travel is the one where I have in my backpack all that I need, a tent, a guitar and lot of time to go around and visit new places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pink Floyd wins the first place in my music list.
Then, I like Italian music (Caparezza, Mannarino...) as well as foreign one (Gorillaz, Nirvana, Noir Désir, Zaz, Coldplay, Frank Zappa... The list could go over and over).
If I have to mention two of my favourite films, I would say "He died with a Felafel in his hand" and "Santa Maradona". However, I love all films by Quentin Tarantino, the Cohen brothers and Wes Anderson. I love cartoons too, I'm a Disney fan and I watched with interest all Miyazaki films. However, my best-favourite-for-ever cartoon is "The iron giant".
I've read tons of book in the last 15 years, and I can say two of my favourite are "Novecento" (alessandro Baricco) and "The Cuckoo's calling" (Robert Galbraith AKA J.K. Rowling).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled by bike from Bruges to Leuven all alone ( not so much, 200 km or so ) and couchsurfed in the meanwhile, without getting lost!! :D
I really enjoyed that trip :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love beer, going out and good movies, but most of all sharing them with someone.
I would like to learn a new language and try all the dishes of where I'll go. :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you own a guitar, I can play it for you (and maybe teach you some chord :D ). If you want to try some Italian dish, I can cook it for you (but I do not assure the result ;) ).
