ABOUT ME

I am always down for an adventure and spontaneous adventures are some of the best. I love making art and dancing anytime anywhere- rooftops, parking lots, fire pits, kitchens and meadows all make awesome dance floors.

PHILOSOPHY

In a few characters? I believe in living life to the fullest because everyone is fighting a hard battle. I believe in finding beauty on the side of train tracks or in abandoned neighborhoods. I think that we are all connected and should help each other work towards an equal and just society. I value honesty and freedom.

Interests

Sunsets, trees, the circus, slacklining, yoga, heights, caves, cookin, dingy diners, good coffee, hula hoops, wide open spaces, the smell of books and the way their pages sigh and their spines crack open, blasting music and driving down high ways leaving a trail of ocean water and sand, history- where we come from, feminism, red tailed hawks, sunflowers, full moons, meteor showers, salsa, oil paint, people.

Music, Movies, and Books

All of it. All the time. I really love to read. The beatniks and surrealists are my homies, especially Jack Kerouac and Garcia Lorca. I also like memoirs, biographies and autobiographies, some of my favorites are: What is the What by Dave Eggers, Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson, and Middle Sex by Jeffery Eugenides.
In terms of sounds there isn't a lot I don't groove to. Live music is my favorite kind. I feel at home with everything from bluegrass to blue sass, folk to electronic, rock to funk to motown to hip hop to reggae to flamenco and back again.
