Overview
About Me
I could say all the things! But to keep it simple, I run on the stoke of all that is wonderful and good and awesome. I love connecting with people over food, warm fires, music and wild excursions into nature. Just returned stateside from teaching English in Guatemala.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel. It's good for the soul.
Interests
Music, the big big world and all it has to offer, Jesus (who is the actual best - seriously), running, staying in shape, food of all kinds (but mostly mega yummy healthy food, mega good smoothies, and mega delicious desserts), swimming, surfing, roller blading, all things beachside, a good breakfast burrito, warm weather, how people communicate, personality tests, handwritten lettering, globalization, being awesome, the occasional stint of theatre and dance, working with kids, helping people out, learning languages, how cultural differences can create synergistic new awesomeness, traveling. All the things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Had typhoid fever (twice) and lived to tell the tale.
Rappelled down a 6 story radio tower.
Bought a kiddie pool and chilled on the roof.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish, English if you're an English learner, how to do a cartwheel, sing (though I'm sure you're already a rockstar), cook, line dance, do a box step, a bunch of card and board games, how to not lose it in a class full of tiny kids, and what music you totally should be listening to right now.
Hoping to learn French, and always up for another language challenge! Teach me some Spanish idioms and jokes, and you'll be my best friend. I'm learning the ukulele and have played a little guitar in the past, but can always use some more tips. Teach me how to board (any kind - skate, snow, surf) better and I'll be stoked! I've always thought it would be cool to know how to whittle wood, too. Whatever else you have to teach, I'm all ears.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some wacky stories about the most subtly hipster farm country in Central America, tales of travel excursions around Europe and South America, a thousand different personality quizzes, a karaoke buddy, my cooking and baking skills, fancy handwriting, and a hand to help out with your well-intended but poorly executed Pinterest DIY projects. Oh, and I've always wanted to organize a flashmob. So we could do that.
