About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been couchsurfing around Europe (Germany, Austria and Greece) and Turkey for the first time using my friends' profiles and decided it's definitely the best way to travel... We managed to escape the more tourist-orientated areaswhich is what I aim to do abroad, and I felt like I explored each place I visited properly using couchsurfing...

Interests

University took up way more time then it should of done but I love drums and I'm learning to play them. however I'm barely at home at the moment so it's turning out to be a slow process. Also went to see a lot of music and weird things around London like comedy shows ect
Other things I do whilst travelling: hiking, canyoning, motor biking, quad biking, jet skiing, canoeing, cycling, paddle tennis :) ... Whatever I can find and afford :) I'd really like to try scuba diving next.
Currently trying to learn Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:Currently reading Midnights Children and really enjoying it.
Movies: I find it hard to commit to them so im a tad behind. Ironically I can easily waste a day on a TV series but it has to happen by accident.

Music: really open to most things and I'm awful at getting my genres right but: funk, jungle, DnB, garage, old style hip hop, jazz, blues, and absolutely anything If I like the drums ( particularly African style).
Now learning to Salsa in Medellin

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My expedition to Madagascar a few years ago has been hard to beat as it had the biggest cultural shock I've experienced whilst travelling. We did things like help to teach English, saw some incredible national parks and also did an impossibly hard trek across mountains to reach remote villages. I couldnt recommend their rum more.... It's all spiced with their vanilla (which is of course also amazing)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I am in Medellin right now trying to teach English
