About Me

I'm a 30 years old Chilean girl that loves travelling. All my life I have been adventurous and I've been visiting different countries in the 5 continents.

4 years ago I decided to quit my office job and go to live to Australia. The "one year" adventure ended up in more than 3 😅 I was with the work&holiday visa. Since then I've been living for years in hostels and shared houses, where I shared and lived with people from EVERYWHERE. And for me at least, that's the most beautiful part of travelling, meeting amazing travellers from all around the world. I enjoy getting to know their cultures and when you live in shared places you can live day by day with them and is super fun!

I consider myself simple, respectful, social, active, tidy and clean. As I said before, for a good community life sharing your house with more people you need to be respectful and tidy.

For those who are more travelers and nomads, can emphasize with me that I still don't have a fixed place where I can host people and give back this beautiful help of giving a couch or bed to a low budget backpacker. That's why I haven't host anyone until now, I've always stayed in hostels but the world is going crazy with the prices, and I want to keep following my dreams and discovering the world!!

I hope you can understand that there is new people is this amazing Couchsurfing, and that's me 🙋‍♀️🤗

Muchas gracias! Chao chao

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like sharing with people from all over the world, sometimes, specially when you are young wild and free, as is my case, is directly related to a low budget 🐣 and Couchsurfing is a solution giving the chance to visit more, there are some places that don't even have hostels (for me a hotel is impossible to afford, specially as a solo traveller). And also for the experience, one of my main motivations to keep going with this nomad life, is to be able to know new cultures, lifestyles, places and know new cultures, places and people. During my journey I've made a lot of beautiiiiiful friends that I'll always keep in my 💛

Interests

Since I quit my office job, in addition to having the freedom to travel, I've had more free time to dedicate myself to my hobbies.

For the last 4 years I've been living close to the beach, and I discovered that my favourite world is under the sea. Is my most zen place. I'm greatful of having the opportunity to play with sea lions, swimming with turtles, sharks, between the most colourful corals. 🐢🦭🦈🐠🐙🐚

Also I love photography, I don’t have a professional camera but I've survided so far with my phone. I like taking pictures of landscapes.

Also I like a looooot techno music, I've been to a lot of raves and festivals, dacing until the sunrise. Good DJ, proper speaker and great company, best party night. I also love, sometimes even more, chill nights jamming with friends. 🪘

I like as well meditating 🧘‍♀️, training 🏋‍♀️, volleyball 🏐, field hockey 🏑, football ⚽️, ski ⛷, juggling with pois 🤹‍♀️, dancing 💃, biking 🚴‍♀️ and hiking 🏞.

And I'm super interested in sustainability. I've worked it different industries and there is a lot of waste and bad practices, polluting or single-use materials, specially plastic, that needs to stop! And in tourism, is terrible to swim in a sea full of bottles and rubbish. That's why actually I just joined this month a Master in Circular Encomy and Sustainable Development. I hope that in the future I can share my new knowledge with the couchsurfers that host me. 🤓♻️

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all type of music, my library in spotify is super complete! On regards to the movies I like comedies, drama and thrillers, I prefer the ones based on real stories. Books I have to confess that I'm not a big reader, but atm I'm reading the power of now, really good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swim and play an entire afternoon with sea lions, they are like dogs!! So cute. Swimming as well with lots of sharks and a group 7 rays, each one had a length of more than 3 meters 😱 We found them with the drone and we went with the boats of some friends to swim for hours with them. No words to describe that moment, in the middle of the sea with no other tourists around.
Also I lived in my jeep in the rooftop tent for 3 months in a 5.000 kms road trip all along the West Coast of Australia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Chilean Spanish, backpackers surveys show that apparently is the funniest Spanish haha I'm not a great cooker, but I'm a good kitchen hand so I would love to learn to cook different type of traditional food. 👩‍🍳

What I Can Share with Hosts

A really good time, talking and chilling. If you're doing home office don't worry about me, I'm usually 80% of the day moving around outside of the house.
