About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To spread love, teach and learn from others, raise my higher consciousness and embrace the human experience

ABOUT ME

Hello! I was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 2001. I am currently residing in Tampa, Florida.I speak fluent Filipino and English. I am only 4'11 and look really young for my age so I always get mistaken for a teenager! I am a server at a French-Vietnamese restaurant in South Tampa. I appreciate my job in that it allows me have a somewhat flexible schedule and I get to do a lot of exploring in my free time. I am very comfortable doing things by myself like going to the movies or eating at a restaurant but I also make sure to make some time with my friends. I set a goal for myself that I will travel to a different country/city/territory at least once or twice a year. I think that travelling by yourself builds confidence and character. I welcome obstacles and problems with open arms and see them as opportunities for growth. I LOVE life and I cannot wait to meet people who have the same passion and zest for it!

PHILOSOPHY

My goal is to spread love and be loved. My spirituality is the most important thing to me. I believe that everything is connected and that we are all one. I am constantly working on getting to know myself and raising my vibration. I believe that you can manifest your dreams and wants by the power of your thoughts and communicating with the Universe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent 2 and a half months in my Aunt's couch in Toronto..explored the city mostly on my own and learned a lot of things about myself.

Interests

I love going to Siesta Key Beach to watch the sunset. I just love sunsets in general. I love amusement parks especially riding roller coasters. I guess I'm a little bit of a thrill seeker. I LOVE LOVE LOVE nature especially mountains! I'm always driving around Tampa or Orlando with friends trying restaurants or just goofing around. I have an affinity for Romance languages and my goal is to be fluent in Spanish and French!! I am also re-learning two Filipino dialects (Ilocano and Panggasinense). I have a slowly growing collection of books most of which is on Mindfulness. I listen to different music genres from hip-hop, violin covers of popular song to Elvis Presley! I also enjoy occasionally binging on my favorite shows such as Grimm and The Blacklist. I don't have one at the moment but I love cats and go crazy when I see one!

I love listening to anything and everything! Youtube covers, instrumentals, Filipino & American RnB, Reggae, piano and violin covers, alternative, Ludovico Einaudi, Elvis!
I like to watch different types of movies but i really like fantasy like Avatar, Underworld, The Hobbit and Pirates of the Carribean..oh and I know it's not a movie but I love Game of Thrones!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I have done that I am very proud of is taking in charge of my own life. Living it at my own pace and not worrying if I am on the same career or life path as my peers. To me this is amazing because it takes courage to go against what is considered the norm. I now feel free and the happiest I've ever been.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that sharing stories and experiences is the best way to teach and learn about each other. I can share my experience growing up in the Philippines, teach some Filipino and just spread the love.
