About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as I can

ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from York University and decided to stay in York because it's beautiful and I'm very happy here. I have travelled a fair bit, but I certainly want to do an awful lot more! I'm something of a theatre fanatic. I perform, direct, write and produce theatre and am excited about the future it holds for me. Theatre itself gives a good excuse to travel and work! I am also hoping to train as a teacher next year - fingers crossed! My fiance Alex also works in the arts, as does our housemate Luke - so if it's really not your thing, then I wouldn't really recommend staying with us...!

PHILOSOPHY

I actually studied Philosophy for my undergraduate, so you can take it as red that I'm a deep thinker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've stayed on some couches, and had people to stay on mine!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with some fantastic people and shared some great experiences. I have only hosted once so far, but I'm sure there will be plenty to come.

Interests

I work in theatre and as much as it's work, it's also my biggest hobby. I enjoy keeping fit, and am a long distance runner and will be running London Marathon 2012.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films, and books. I am picky on what I will watch and what I will read. Music on the other hand, I will listen to pretty much anything any everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Arthurs Seat in Edinburgh at night ready for the sunrise. It was freezing and we could barely see the sun come up, but it was worth it - somehow.

I was proposed to on Glenelg Beach is South Australia. That was basically wonderful!
