About Me

Looking for a couchsurfer to cat-sit this weekend (starting Nov 2nd)! Please drop me a line mentioning that you love cats :)

====================

For every copy-pasted request I will happily provide a copy-pasted response.

https://support.couchsurfing.org/hc/en-us/articles/200640010-How-do-I-write-a-good-couch-request-

====================

I'm relatively new to Toronto, so I might not be the best guide. I prefer not to take last minute requests as I tend to keep myself busy. Best is about 1-2 weeks upfront.

Be prepared to cuddle with my cat, because he's all over the place. Also, please mention my cat's name in your request, so I'd know you've read my profile. You can find it in "Home" section.

====================

I'm a self-employed graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer, which is neither very stable nor easy. I absolutely love it, but unfortunately, I have to work full time for a while, which doesn't leave me as much free time as I'm used to.

My current obsessions are Brazilian zouk and photography. If you are a zouker or a photographer, mention it in your request and I'll make an extra effort to host you.

I'm nice to people and I enjoy hanging out and chatting, but I also respect personal space a lot. I'm quite straight-forward. They say it has something to do with the Russian mentality, oh well... I probably might carry around a bottle of vodka in my purse and have a bear on a leash.

I was born in Russia and lived there for half of my life, the other half I spent in Israel. I moved to Canada two years ago and while enjoying it, settling down in a new country turned out to be quite a challenge.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't judge and you will not be judged.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's life changing. If not for a string of happy accidents started with couchsurfing, I don't know where I would be now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yeah, like sharing love for a specific movie or book can serve as an indication to whether we'll get along or not.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to train your cat to use a human toilet, which is a vital piece of information, isn't it?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm looking to spend some good time in the first place. It's a privilege to stay at someone's home, and I treat it as one.
