About Me

ABOUT ME

I am always up to try new, fun and exciting things and I enjoy meeting new people and going to new places. To me, a place is only as fun as the people I meet there! I have traveled to Costa Rica, Bahamas, England, Austria, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in exploring places within the U.S. as well as abroad with help from a local! My friend has told me wonderful things about the people she has met through Couch Surfing and I can't help but want to try it out! I have been to many places in the United States, but I am looking to fly to Austin, Texas and drive up the west coast to Yellowstone by car.

Interests

I enjoy traveling (of course) hiking, volleyball, boating, swimming, movies, live music of any variety and photography. I am up for any outdoor activity and I stink at video games. I love to be outside and find joy in tasting any food the world can offer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to impress anyone using couch surfing, but one amazing experience I have had is living with a host mother in Salzburg, Austria. Living with a host family is not something unique in a social networking site for travelers, but I think that the bond that I formed with my host mom in only 3 months is something amazing. In three months, she actually did become a mother to me. She is someone I keep in close contact with four years after the time we spent together. The relationship with my host mom is one of the reasons I am so enthusiastic about traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my host a gracious and polite guest, a fun new friend, and an open mind!
