About Me

There are two options when you've just finished the chapter "university" in your life: first one, you search for a real adults job at take life serious. Or second, you grab your stuff, run away and open up your mind for other countries and cultures. I have chosen the second one and am amazed how much you can learn on your journey, experiencing it or from the life stories of other people.

My life story is quite mainstream for Europeans. I grew up in a village with real cows and a big playground in the nature, finished school, started studying in Austria, did some internships, went to France for one semester, finished the bachelor, was confused about how to go on. So I grabbed my stuff and left.

I always envied people who know exactly what they want to do, unfortunately I like a little bit of everything (some things more, some things less). So I hoped to find out what I really what to do in life, and I did (working 11 hours every day in an onion packaging shed I had loooots of time to think about).
But before I go home and reduce the diseases people catch up at their workplace, I want to explore the beauty of Oz and hear more life stories of the people I meet along the way. Even though you could think most are average...putting all the little details together, they would make a great movie! Actually making movies sounds interesting, too....

Okay, enough of this blablabla (as we would say in Germany), I am looking forward to meet you and to see your favorite spots around your area.
I'd say I'm an easy-going guest, don't need much, just a quiet place to sleep.
If you have time to show me around in the city - great! If not - I don't mind, I can also be on my own. And don't worry, normally I don't talk non stop (even though I wrote a long long text here)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually find accomodation in hostels, what I actually prefer to hotels because you always get to know funny people to hang out with. I love meeting people from other countries and so I want to try couchsurfing, too. I have never done it but I heard so many good things about it. I imagine it to be a great opportunity to get to know some interesting people and their way of living

Interests

I like doing sport like beachvolleyball and running. Dancing all night long in a club is kind of sports, too, isn't it? I enjoy listening to live music and hanging out with friendly people. I never get tired of exploring a city, love to experience the culture and the "soul" of cities. Sometimes it is just the best to be in the nature and enjoying only the company of animals. I'm looking forward to go on my next hike!

Music, Movies, and Books

can't list all of it, but my favourite
books: most books of Ken Follet, great connection of live stories and history
movies: Inception; Shrek; crazy, stupid, love; funny and action movies in general
Music: every live music, chill out House, Indie, Electro and House for partying, HipHop can be nice too though... yes I nearly like everything, but in the end it always depends on the situation
