I am on couch surfing, because what I like about traveling the most is meeting new people, either locals or people, who like to travel a lot as well. I believe that traveling only to see sites and places without getting to know locals would not make you know the place really. I realized that, when I was on my first ever long term traveling experience in Norway for six month. I travelled there many times just for a week or two with my parents, but we always went only to ski any live in the hotel.
