Well it's always difficult to talk about yourself, but i'll try. I grew up in 5 different cities of Russia from East to North-West. Being a child, one of my best memories was when in the summer i went with my grandfater in garage cellar to pick up home preserves and there is railway nearby, so my favorite game was to count the number of carriages in the train. Also as i were living in different cities, i travelled a lot, and i love this moment when you are on the road. It's like beeing free in this moment, when you don't belong to a concrete place, and can enjoy the passing scenery and indulge in reverie (dream for a while). I noticed that every time of my life i was connected somehow with the road, so it's in my blood))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this service long ago, but haven't time to know it better. And now i see so many advantages by using this sourse. It's such a good way to become acquainted with local people, look at the city from their eyes, make a cultural exchange, learn a little more about life in another country and try to survive!) I like this statement of St. Augustine "The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only a page" i think it can be slogan of couchserfing movement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in Sochi Olympic Games as a sports volunteer, one of my shifts was at night in the mountain, i remember that sky full of stars and special mountain air, definetely i hardly forget it!
