I am from Germany but at the moment I am studying mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech as a double degree exchange student. Being aboroad and meeting new people always has been a dominamt wish for me since high school and now it has become reality. Now, my year abraod is coming to an end and I want to make some more great experiences while travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is so great to meet open minded people all over the world. Talking to them and benefitting from their thoughts is really inspiring.
I like this way of travelling and getting around :)

Couchsurfing provided me the best vacation, I've ever had. Over the winter breack of college, I did a couchsurfing trip to Florida over three weeks and the experiences I could make were simply amazing. Feeling welcome among people you just met seconds ago is the best thing about couchsurfing and I would like to contribute furhter to its great spirit.

Interests

I love playing volleyball and have been doing this for a long while.
Furthermore, I am really into anything you can do outdoors. Regardless whether hiking, swimming, running or just relaxing in the sun, I enjoy being outside.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh yes reading books, watching movies or listening to music is good, but I prefer talking to people and making music on my own. I am playing the piano and the cello and especially making music together in an orchestra is always fun. I like the interconnecting aspect of music. It is the same across borders and I have been meeting so many great people on international orchestra festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending United Nations Climate Change Conference as a youth embassador. It is my passion to fight against climate change and for renewable energies on behalf of future generations. We only have one Planet Earth!
