Hey! My name is Veronika, and I'm a student at the Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. I study editing and publishing (journalism, linguistics, literature etc.) Currently I'm doing my postgraduate degree, while working on my publications, translating a collections of Czech poems to Hungarian, ...and working in a small souvenir shop in the heart of the capital city, in Bratislava (necessary for living as a student :) ) I love to travel, cook, practice yoga and pilates, running, learning new languages, and - of course - reading.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Me and my friends decided to attend the Camp Leaders program, which is a Cultural Exchange Program in the US. After leaving the camps we're going to travel across the States, starting with New Orleans and Austin, TX. We thought we should try Couchsurfing, so now I'm (we are) here :) heyo!

Books are my passion. I love reading, doesn't matter if it's a poem or a novel. It's also connected with my field of study - editing and publishing.

I inspired my family, friends, roommates to live healthy, eat clean, to keep their environment clean and healthy, to respect the nature and its creatures, and be greatful for the Earth's gifts.
