Hi! My name is Veronika, I am from the Czech Republic from small village Valeč. I grew up near beautiful UNESCO site Třebíč. I am currently living in Brno, the second largest city in my country. I am a third year medical student at Masaryk University in Brno and I am very passionate about medicine. When I don´t study, I spend my time chatting with my friends and family, reading books and doing sports. I used to do firesport, but I am currently more into HIIT, badminton and yoga. I also love to bake and cook! For me, it is an effective antistress therapy. Over the summer, I try to travel as much as possible. By far, I´ve visted some parts of Europe and I´ve seen many places from my own country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´ve been wondering about joining couchsurfing for a while now. Ever since I was little, I´ve been curious about exploring new places, meeting new people and trying new things. As I am a bit older now and I can travel by my own, I found it fitting to finally try couchsurfing as a mean to do these things - discover new places and make new connections.

I am a bookworm. I like reading anything interesting, but my favourite authors are Robert Fulghum, Terry Pratchett and Jane Austen.

I don´t have specific music style, my choice of music is usually influenced by my mood.

As I study medicine, I can teach you basics from first aid or how to do proper bandages.
I can also cook and bake quite well.
