About Me

2018 Update:
As of right now, I am based in Tallahassee: dancer in training (I like to share a good stretch) and raw vegan, very passionate about preparing food - I want to open an all organic vegan/raw vegan restaurant. I love to share my knowledge about health, I love to discover new things as well. When I meet new people - I like to serve a meal if they allow, share a conversation and some good music. I certainly had a long journey since I moved to States four years ago, even though I didn't go too many places - dipping into American cultural swirl was a huge mind opening change for me on it's own. I keep my previous profile descriptions as a sort of a diary to track my development as a person.

2016: Don't read below, it's for my own records:) or read, whatever. I lived in States for two years now and enjoy hosting people myself now! I love to meet travelers and learn about other cultures, so awesome people are welcome most of the time, except for when I'm not home or something. Please, don't bring me food or plan on cooking something, as I only eat raw and organic, and I feel horrible rejecting gifts. You're welcome to cook for yourself , though. No alcohol or meat is allowed in the house.

2014: Hi there! I am from Belarus, at the moment live in USA (I am a permanent resident). I moved here half a year ago and decided to spend this year learning as much as I can while traveling. I’ve spent the greatest 4 months on a small organic family farm in NJ so far, I also has been working on a non organic farm for 2 month. I had been milking a cow, worked with a bull (mostly run away from him) and other animals. I raised a generation of chickens and ducks, learnt to set up electric fence, and, what’s more important, not to get in it myself. I totally enjoyed farming and want to get my own farm one day. But for now, I want to take my bike and experience America more! I hope, you will host me - I have some farm stories which I will love to share! I also love to tell about my home country as well as listening about yours, and enjoy sharing national cuisine - so get ready for Belarusian style diner! Speaking of food, I am a vegetarian, eat dairy and totally ok with meat eaters. I'm not picky about food and usually can take care of myself.
I’m not picky about place to sleep. I love couches, don't mind sleeping on the floor(I have my pad and sleeping bag) or I always have my tent with me.
Non smoker, don’t drink alcohol.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music - it excites me to catch the groove and feel the artist. I'll listen to pretty much anything, as far as it has soul to it. I love post disco funk, ethnic and lounge music most. For the movies and books - I like a good laugh and a deep thought in those.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought a ticket, packed minimum in a backpack in an hour and came to USA without a single acquaintance. Four years later it sounds even more crazy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Raw foods, vegan diet, flexibility, russian language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great tea and a conversation about everything, a made-with-love vegan dinner and a flexibility lesson if you'd like. I also really enjoy long walks and taking pictures.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Egypt, Lithuania, Poland, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belarus, United States
