About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go Everywhere With a Smile

ABOUT ME

What to say, I am thirsty for travel. When I was a child, my family moved to Jakarta from Slovakia, enabling me to experience the outer world, diverse to anything I have ever known. Later, I lived in Canada, the complete opposite of Indonesia and then I went to study to England.

Traveling has made me who I am. I want to travel and I will travel. I want to explore and see the world. We live only once so lets make it an adventure!

Talking about myself is hard, its easier to describe the traits of ones friend. I am spontaneous at times but also make plans. I am a good listener but when I get the chance to talk I cant stop. I encourage others and make them laugh. I like to socialize and go crazy but I also like peace and tranquility. I love beaches and sea but I also love mountains and forests. I love to try new things, gain new experiences and accept challenges, but I would definitely decline on crunchy bugs. I have a vivid imagination and fantasy.

PHILOSOPHY

If you don't give it a shot, you are guaranteed a loss of 100%.

Everywhere you go, go with a smile.

The key ingredient to success is enthusiasm.

Have No regrets. In the end, everything bad is good for something else.

Hope I will get to meet some amazing and inspiring people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Don't really have any at the moment~ hope that will change soon

Interests

I get interested in things very easily. I like business and some other educational topics like comparative governance and psychology. I love magic and the extra ordinary. I am interested in the impossible and inconceivable. I love to travel and I most particularly love doing things I enjoy doing at that particular moment I am doing them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost anything, but I love the ones with a deeper meaning. My favorite movie of all times is probably Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, but I enjoy movies full of laughter, action, thriller, superheros and love. Horrors give me shiver and make me laugh at the same time.. A Book must captivate me in the first 50 pages or it gets boring. In some cases I manage to pull through and read it till the end. My favorite books are from Dan Brown, as they have suspense from page 1.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't say there is one thing that would pop in my mind, as I have seen much of the hidden beauty in the world and come across many occasions where I would be struck with simple amazement and shocked with disbelief. Every place and country has something unique and amazing.

Most recently however, I have been in the middle of the Jakarta floods, on the 17th of January 2013. I was literally stuck. I had to turn back- and walk home as the bus dared not to move further with more than a meter depth of water in front of us. I walked back home due to the unbelievable traffic caused by the flood. I has water up to my knees and moved through cars and motorcycles. State emergency was declared for the next 10 days or so. Well. It sure proved to be a life experience for me. I was regretting two things. 1. I did not have my camera with me on that day. 2. I did not have a sign to warn the incoming cars to turn back while they could, as many were heading in the direction of the flood and would end up stuck in traffic for the next 5 or more hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not entirely sure what I could teach. Ask me and I will answer to the best of my ability.

I can share my life experience, bits and parts of it.

I want to learn as much as possible, sadly life is too short.
