ABOUT ME

I'm Vero, come from a small village at the river Moselle and moved to Magdeburg a few years ago (after living in different cities for my studies).
I am a positiv thinking person and try to discover the good parts in everything. I am open-minded, like making new experiences and try to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got to know Couchsurfing while I lived in Australia and had some great experienced through the community. I surfed a few times and hosted some people and somehow got inactive while living in shared flats during my studies. Now I'm back and am happy to offer some space in our flat for other travellers and also get to know people and maybe find a place when I'm travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Really good ones up to now and open for more! Once I was hosted by a host twice in two different cities because he moved during my trip and my route also led through his new city. And another time, my friend and I experienced incredible hospitality in Dubai when we were invited to a great programme to discover the city in less than 24 hours during a stopover. All of these and the many other encounters are memories that will last forever.

Interests

I'm interested a bit in nearly everything, eventhough I don't have this one passion for something.
I like being outdoors, go climbing and bouldering, cooking and baking, making jams and spreads, sewing, hiking...
I think I'm kind of balanced between quiet and exciting stuff to do. On the one hand I'm always looking for the next adventure to discover, but then I'm sometimes really happy just being by myself and enjoying some quiet time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Luckily many different ones like...

Coming to a foreign family in a foreign country, living with them for six months and finding a second home there... And then, just to make it perfect, getting to know my boyfriend and coming back home with him ♥

Running out of the sauna over the landing stage and jumping in the sparkling ocean in Sweden.

Hiking up a mountain in Montenegro on a super hot day and enjoying the view over the fjord.

Depends on what you want to learn ;) But I'm sure we'll find something even if it's just a few words in German...
