CURRENT MISSION

I recently developed this urge to travel and get lost in the world. I want to explore the world and see it through its people´s eyes; to become a traveler, not a tourist. Also, would love to make new friends along the way :)

ABOUT ME

I like doing new stuff and I get excited about almost everything. I love learning and experiencing new things. I'm a big fan of roller coasters, bungee jumping, zip line or pretty much anything that gets me off the ground. I love the thrill and the chills you get when doing something for the very first time. Biking or walking in the rain is one of my favorites things in the world. I think the best things in life are the ones that happen unexpectedly! My new favorite thing is meeting new people, it changes the way I see life and makes me grow as a human being.

PHILOSOPHY

Might sound a little cliché but.. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and you have to make the most of it.
I believe we need to learn to embrace every moment because life is too short; so many things to see and do! When the times comes, I wanna be able to say, I LIVED.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just hanging:
My first experience was when I met a couch surfer in my trip to NOLA and had an amazing time! We ended up in Mississippi´s beach and exploring the colorful gay parade in Bourbon street.
After that, hanged with this pretty cool guy in NYC and it was awesome! We went to Bryant Park, Central Park and for cheesecake and he was key to my survival in the subway system haha

Surfing:
The first time surfing was in Queens with an amazing guy! He was so laid back and cool and told us so many great stories about his life, gave us great advice and totally changed my perception on becoming friends with strangers :)
After that, I´ve surfed in Utrecht and in Eindhoven; both wonderfull experiences!!

Hosted:
I have hosted only one time, but it was really cool and I'm looking forward to host again. I met two amazing guys that have traveled a lot and they really inspired me to do the same!

Intereses

Meeting new people, music, science, outdoor activities, amusement parks, dancing, but most of all.. eating! And of course, traveling!
Also, I recently started training Muay Thai :)

Música, películas y libros

I love all kind of movies, specially action movies or Pixar's. My taste in music is very wide but mostly I love ~old bands like Scorpions, Goo goo dolls, Placebo, Sonata Arctica, Def Leppard, Led Zepellin and more new ones like Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Zoé, etc.
I also enjoy guys such as Ellie Gouding or good now-classic David Guetta.

Books, oh books.. I love "Man´s search for meaning" of Viktor Frankl, Anne Rice´s "Interview with a vampire" and Poe's short stories. Also, latin american classic writers such as Gabriel García Márquez, Carlos Fuentes and Julio Córtazar. Right now I'm reading Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and I'm loving it!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I think the most amazing things are the little things that happen randomly in life.

That said, bungee (biggest in Mexico) and waterfall jumping in Matacanes canyoning have been two of the most amazing experiences in my life, together with traveling 7 European countries in less than a month with no more than my 10Kg bag.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm no expert. I go through life learning and trying to become better as I go. I feel like just talking with someone can make you learn a lot and I'm always looking forward to learn new things.

I'll be thrilled to share my home (in Monterrey, Mexico), culture, language, and my few, but growing experiences traveling or living outside Mexico.
