ABOUT ME

After university I spent some travelling, and last year I met my boyfriend in Panama, he is from Germany but we are both living in Switzerland. Now I want to devote some time to learning German and so will travel to Berlin, to see the city and learn some Deutsch.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to push myself into things that scare me, I know that I'll be glad of the experience afterwards.

I have been away from couch surfing for a while, but have used it to meet new friends in my own city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I originally joined couch surfing when in Japan, I met some really cool people and attended a number of different language events and meetings.

Interests

Learning German so would like to stay with German speakers

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy world cinema, the strangest films I've ever come across have come from Japan. Miike Takashi is one of my favourite directors, I've watched almost all of his films. At the moment my music of choice would have to be Kiwi reggae, I also enjoy Ska, so jazz/reggae/rock. Katchafire is probably my favourite, and I like Fat Freddy's Drop, but Sublime will always have a place in my heart.
Currently reading White Tiger but I'm enjoying so much I'm flying through it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I skydived, that was such an incredible experience I'll never forget it.
